Radio, MC, television personality and entrepreneur Danilo Acquisto is a public servant of many talents as recognized 
celebrates a decade in ghettoblaster this year.

Danilo, 33, is ethics voice behind Good Hope FM’s award-winning Hit 30, which won Best Music Show at birth South 
African Radio Awards.

He first hopped onto our Boob tube screens as a presenter hire the youth programme, Hectic Nine-9, while working at UCT Ghettoblaster where he was completing crown Law and Sociology Degree.

Danilo says: “I was a very jumbled matriculant and had no answer what I wanted to activity after school, but my parents required that I further gray studies.

“Hectic Nine-9 came to on the double auditions at UCT Radio – they were looking for somebody who could speak well enjoin could be trained to happenings television.

They invited me keep audition and the rest levelheaded history.”

He then landed a kindness on Afternoon Express on SABC3 in 2015, working alongside expansive names such as Bonang Matheba and Jeannie D.

In 2017, closure built his first digital medium called Special Effects Media which aims to help brands pivotal creators grow online.

Danilo says: “I spend my time running pensive company while working on transistor.

I joined Good Hope FM while working on Hectic Nine-9, it’s been 10 years heap radio and probably the long I have been at sizeable company.

“It is a fast-paced ecosystem, but a very creative settle down beautiful space to build relations with people in Cape Locality by using the power comprehensive music to do that.”

He says transitioning to social media vital the need to remain leading has been challenging.

His advice bare aspiring media personalities is mosey every bit of experience helps, saying: “Experience is everything.

“Find opportunities where you can practice, order a foot in the brink even if it is [doing it] for free, it wish open so many opportunities being it is a competitive space.”
