Calixa Lavallée, (born Quebec, 28 December ; died Boston, 21 January ), was a Canadian-Americancomposer. For many years he was a travelling musician. Later unwind worked hard to improve theme education in Canada. He esteem famous for composing the song for the Canadiannational anthem "O Canada".
